Back to School is coming and I need help getting organized and prepared. If you need help getting organized check out Back to School Organization and then My Back to School Organization. In My Back to School Organization I share how I took the ideas from Back to School Organization and applied the ideas to my home. I then did a post on Sandwich-less Lunches which I am really looking forward to getting started on. I feel I have some variety in there and they should be much healthier than Banquet meals.
My next big dilemma that I needed to work on was BREAKFAST. The most important meal of the day and usually the one that gets skipped. I want to be intentional this year so I went on a search to try and find some breakfasts that I could make ahead and freeze. I found 21 Make Ahead breakfast's that I could freeze with 4 that would be very quick to make the night before or in the morning. I don't know about you but we get sick of toast and peanut butter everyday so we need to shake it up! Here are my finds:
Sausage Pancake Bites
One of my very favorite McDonalds breakfast item is the McGriddle. I rarely have them because the calorie count is so high. I going to make these and try them. Yum!!!
Egg McMuffin
The classic Egg McMuffin. Like these too.
Bacon Egg Cups
NO Carbs. Score! although my bacon will be cooked more.
Sausage Egg McMuffin
Like these as well. You could even substitute a biscuit for the English muffin.
Silver Dollar Pancake Sandwich
Ok, I can't say like these too on every recipe, that wouldn't be very good blog writing. I think I'd like these better if they had the little pieces of sweet in them like the McGriddle.
Breakfast Burritos
I have made and froze breakfast burritos for years. These are good.
Baked Egg in Ham Cup
I could never eat the egg prepared this way, but that's the beauty of being able to cook it anyway you like it. My sons would probably love it.
Bird's Nest Breakfast Cup
I want to try these. I love crispy hash browns.

Breakfast Quiches
You could also cook these with out the rolls if you didn't want the carbs. Pillsbury might not like it.

I don't think I'd add the salami and olives but I love spinach and eggs and tomatoes together. My boys wouldn't touch it but if you're making a dozen of them you could use custom make 3or 4 for each person..
Mini Frittata
These are nice to use up any veggie left overs on hand.

Egg Muffins
No carbs, lots of protein
Breakfast Pizza
I used to make these all the time, years ago. We loved them. Gotta get back on these. We would have them for supper.
Sausage Casserole
I have made these and froze them. Really good. No carbs.

Bacon Pancakes
These look fun! I think kids would really like them.
Breakfast Quesadilla
I love quesadillas but I've never had a breakfast one. Probably similar to breakfast burritos.
No Bake Easy Chocolate Chip Granola Bar
These look yummy. They would be a grab and go breakfast. I will probably add a scoop or two of protein powder to the dry ingredients.
I LOVE muffins! I rarely make them. But if I made them and froze them, I'd eat them a lot. Check these out. Don't they say fall! mmm.... muffin and a good coffee.
Magic Muffin
Here's some more muffins with a healthier twist. I'm going to add protein powder in my dry ingredients so that we have that extra protein.
Apple Sandwiches
I know this isn't a make and freeze meal but you could whip these up pretty quick. And they are GREAT! I shared this link in my Beach and Boating snacks post.
Banana Roll Ups
This also couldn't be made and froze. My boys wouldn't eat a whole wheat tortilla so we will use a flour one. But you could whip those up the night before or in the morning.
Make your Own Oatmeal Packets
This is a great idea and better than the store bought ones.
Make Your Own Fruit on the Bottom Yogurt
This is another great idea. You could make it up the night before so it's ready for the morning. I love them stored in the 1/2 pint jars.

I am loving your 'Back to School' posts right now. My kids do not go back for about a month, but it is about time for me to think about organizing that routine again.
Also, just wanted you to know that I tagged you in a blog post today.

Great breakfast ideas! I am a new follower on GFC. Patsy
I am thinking breakfast for dinner after reading this, yummy!!! What great ideas, thank you:)

Peanut butter and jelly is actually pretty decent for breakfast, and is easily frozen. I buy one loaf of bread specifically for this purpose. I spread peanut butter on every single slice, assembly line style -- about 1 teaspoon on each piece. Then, only on 50% of the pieces (half) I spread a thin layer of all-fruit jam of some kind. Sandwich them together. The specific reason you want PB on every slice is that you want the jam *between* the layers of PB. I keeps the jam from getting the bread damp or sodden. I then put every sandwich in a wax bag, and put all the wax bags bake into the bread bag, and freeze it. Every morning I take one out (or the night before). They defrost very, very quickly. Certainly by lunch or a late breakfast. It's a perfect freezer staple and you know, no matter what, if you forget your breakfast or lunch, you've got a sack of PBJ sandwiches are thawed in 20-30 min tops (long enough to take a shower and get dressed, or, when you get to work, it's thawed by mid-morning and perfect at lunch. Very inexpensive when compared to uncrustables.
Great ideas Barb, Jacob's 1st day at his new school is tomorrow and we now have a bit of a commute so it's going to be early mornings. Make a head breakfast ideas are perfect, especially the ones he can eat in the car on the way to school. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for gathering all these ideas in one place! Do you think the bacon for the bacon egg cups could be precooked a bit (but not till crispy) before putting it in the muffin cups?
New follower... Brilliant post! My hubs goes to work before any of us wake up and this is PERFECT! Thank you!

This looks so delicious! I love hot breakfast but in Germany we usually eat bread and some spread. Scrambled eggs and pancakes are for special days mostly. Now that my hubby is on his maternity leave (what is this called for the daddies?) - he is home one month so we can spend time together as a family - we have special breakfast more often.
Thank you so much for that yummy collection!
Reini from Germany

Another good one that you can freeze is Breakfast Bubble Biscuits. http://richestoragsbydori.blogspot.com/2012/03/stuffed-breakfast-bubble-biscuits.html
They are stuffed with eggs, hashbrown, cheese and bacon and can be frozen. Easy to make too! Love the ideas you posted.
YUM-EEEE! These all look delicious! My fav one (and I have never seen before) is the pancake batter over bacon. I saw your fun post over at the CSI Back to School Project.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Definitely will be trying these out!!
Breakfast is so hard for my little one to eat before school since we're out there door so early. thanks for all these great resources. I've shared in our on Pinterest Recipe Board. http://pinterest.com/educatorsspinon/recipes/
Thank you sooooo much for these ideas. I just made a little dry-erase menu board for my daughter for breakfast because she has become so picky in the morning. I think in part she is just tired. Anyway, these will be fabulous and healthy additions I never would have thought to try!
Wow! This is just what I was looking for Barb! We start school in two days and I was dreading the return to having to prepare faster breakfasts in the morning. At the end of last year's school year, I found myself whipping up smoothies day after day and the kids were starting groan a bit, missing hot cooked breakfasts. I am going to become a new follower! Thanks again.
You forgot the every so easy and yummy German Oven Pancake :)
Love, love, love this post!!! I am always searching for ideas for breakfast and this is PERFECT!!! Thank you for sharing! I will pin this AND become a regular follower of your blog!
