12 Creative ways to give graduates money

May 22, 2017

As I mentioned in my  Graduation Party Printables post my twin boys are graduating this year.  I have a lot of mixed feelings about it but regardless of how I feel, it’s happening.  Since they are graduating it means we are invited to a LOT Of open houses.  I don’t really want to hand them a card with a check in it so I wanted to come up with some creative ways to give graduates money.  Of course to do that I headed to Pinterest to do some searching and here are some things I found.

Make a Money Lei with dollars and rosettes in the graduate’s school colors.

Money / dollar bill graduation lei. Took 34 dollar bills, 34 black pieces of card stock and 14 pieces of red card stock. On one of the leis I replaced the red card stock with dollar tree dahlia flowers. I used 2 seperate pieces of string to go through both sides of the folded dollars / paper to keep it from sliding around. Attached is a video I came across that shows a similar way to how I made this lei. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imUBI7bNgsc:
