15 Kids Winter Crafts

15 Kids Winter Crafts

Winters can feel sooooooooo long!  It seems everyone gets antsy in the winter, especially the kids.  With Valentines day past and lots of winter left (I have put together 15 Winter Craft projects to brighten those boring winter days.

Foam in all the fun colors was a great invention.  Look at this fun wreath.  If you didn’t want to use snowflakes you could always use flowers and make a wreath you can hang in the spring.

Check out these footprint penguins! Look how cute they are.

These DIY woolly hat egg cosies are a great fun and simple craft to make with the kids this winter! They're so easy to make and use hardly any materials (and will keep your eggs really warm!)

This snowman craft uses a recycled jar.  Great way to turn trash into something beautiful!

Tin foil is a great medium to work with.  You could make any shape not just snowflakes.
Shiny Mosaic Snowflakes
I love tissue paper projects as well. This mitten sun catcher  is no exception.  You could also make a snowflake.

These coffee filter snowflakes are so fun. You could paint, use markers, stickers or sequins to embellish.
