I have the perfect project for you and the kids to do for Thanksgiving- Candy Corn Turkeys.

Second Chance to Dream: Candy Corn Turkeys #thanksgiving #kidscrafts

I received a copy of the book “The Super Moms Guide to Simply Super Sweets and Treats for Every Season” to review.

Super Moms Book

While scanning the Fall section I came across these cute candy corn turkeys.

They looked simple enough to do with my granddaughters.

Addy & SydSo here’s what you’ll need:

  • One package of double stuff Oreos
  • Package of Candy Corn
  • M & M’s for eyes or candy eyes
  • chocolate frosting

Take your Oreo and stick the candy corn into the double stuff filling, point side down.

Turkey Base

Take an M & M and add a dab of chocolate frosting and place on the Oreo. Take a toothpick and add a dot of chocolate frosting. Take another piece of candy corn and on the flat end add frosting and stand the candy corn up for the beak.  Take a red M & M and add a dab of frosting and place under the beak to resemble a gobbler.

Here’s the flock of turkeys my granddaughters made.  They had a blast doing it.

There are lots and lots of ideas in this book for you to do with your kids or grandkids.  Make sure you check it out!
