I’m so excited to share with you my Fall decor with upcycled beer cans. Who would’ve thought you could create such pretty decor with a bottle that gets tossed. Over labor day weekend my son in law was drinking a can of beer. I told him to save the cans for me that I LOVED the shape and knew I could come up with something fun using them.
Here’s what I did:
I spray painted my cans with a brown hammered paint. I like the hammered paint because it leaves a texture and hides a lot.
Once the cans were dry I cut out the words FALL and some leaf embellishments. I also added some twine around the top of the cans.
Because I loved them so much I decided to turn the cans around and put THANKS on them. I cut the letters from vinyl and cut acorn and leaf embellishments. This way when Thanksgiving comes around I only have to turn the cans around.
Here they are sitting on my mantel.
I had everything on hand so it was a FREE project!
